Elizabeth L. Johnson

Elizabeth Johnson is a licensed attorney in California, Virginia, and Florida. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in History and German from the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB), where she also broadened her perspective by participating in an immersion program in Berlin, Germany. Fluent in conversational German, Elizabeth went on to pursue her Juris Doctorate at American University, Washington College of Law, where she served on the Editorial Board of the *Journal of Gender, Social Policy & the Law*, one of the top-cited legal journals in its field. While in law school, Elizabeth gained valuable practical experience. Elizabeth’s diverse legal career includes working as a federal law clerk in the District of Columbia Superior Court under the Honorable Erik P. Christian, where she gained significant insight into judicial processes in family law, probate, and tax matters. She also served as an attorney advisor at the Social Security Administration, where she addressed disability claims under the Social Security Act. In recent years, Elizabeth was an associate attorney at a business and employment litigation firm in Long Beach, CA, where she handled complex litigation, arbitration, and depositions.
