Brent D. Harris - Highlands Law Group Attorney and Mediator Brent D. Harris has lived in Flagstaff, AZ since 2004. In that time, he has been a Criminal Defense Attorney, Chief Prosecutor for the City of Flagstaff, and Superior Court Judge Pro Tem for the Coconino County Superior Court, assigned to the Family, Civil and Probate dockets. His favorite work, however, was in the areas of Mediation and Title 14 crafting wills and trusts, and managing probate matters, guardianships, and conservatorships. In August 2025 he opened the Highlands Law Group (HLG) to provide experienced, law-trained private mediation to clients throughout Northern Arizona, as well as handling myriad T14 matters. He and the HLG focus on collaboration between professionals in finance, estate planning, real estate, and litigation with a goal-oriented focus on satisfied clients and preserving relationships for the long term. Experienced in the Private, Non-Profit and Government sectors, and having litigated or presided over nearly every area of law, Brent and the HLG are uniquely situated to help your clients resolve their legal matters via negotiation, mediation, or litigation, as the situation requires. When not in the office, Brent spends time with his awesome kids, outdoors exploring Arizona with friends and family, playing golf or rugby, or recovering from playing either. He is Past President of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Flagstaff, the Coconino County Bar Association, the Highland Games, and is a graduate of the Flagstaff Leadership Program Class of 2014.
