George Frederick Vogt Jr

Herrig & Vogt, LLP is a Granite Bay law firm that consists of a team of attorneys who share over 100 years of legal experience. The firm was founded in 1994 by Attorney John R. Herrig and Attorney George F. Vogt, Jr. In 1976, Attorney Herrig earned his Juris Doctorate from Pepperdine University School of Law. Before beginning his law career, he held various positions in heavy construction, including Chief Operations Officer of a major steel fabrication company. Attorney Herrig limits his law practice to construction disputes for trade contractors, general contractors, sureties, and private and public owners. In addition, he is a mediator and arbitrator of construction disputes. In 1982, Attorney Vogt received his Juris Doctorate from Loyola Law School. He has acted as lead counsel in numerous construction trials and arbitrations. Attorney Vogt’s primary focus is on construction litigation, and he has handled many issues including contract interpretation, interpretation of specifications, total cost claims, bad faith claim litigation, plan interpretation, and construction insurance coverage issues.
