Jason Arthur Herman

Jason Herman is a co-founding partner at Herman & Wells, P.A., a plaintiff trial firm representing injured people and their families throughout the Tampa Bay area, including Pinellas County and Hillsborough County. He has practiced personal injury and insurance law since 2004, after graduating from Emory University School of Law. Jason was selected to Florida Rising Stars every year from 2010 through 2020, and to Florida Super Lawyers every year from 2022 through 2026 — sixteen years of peer recognition. Jason represents individuals and families in serious personal injury cases, including car accidents, truck and commercial vehicle accidents, motorcycle crashes, and catastrophic injury claims. He has tried cases to verdict throughout the State of Florida and has recovered millions of dollars for injured clients. He has tried cases for clients of Herman & Wells, and lawyers with other firms have brought Jason into their cases when they approach trials. He also represents policyholders against their own insurance carriers in first-party and third-party coverage disputes, including property damage claims, insurance bad faith litigation, examination under oath representation, declaratory judgment actions, and as personal counsel for insureds. Jason is admitted to practice in Florida and Georgia, including the Northern, Middle, and Southern Districts of Florida and the Northern and Southern Districts of Georgia. He has argued in the Florida District Courts of Appeal and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
