Shawn H. Head

Shawn Head, founder and Managing Member of Head Murphy Law, is dedicated to helping individuals and families navigate complex situations with clarity and confidence. With a career focused on protecting what matters most, Shawn provides thoughtful, results-driven representation during some of life’s most difficult moments. He has been consistently recognized as one of Metro Detroit’s Top Lawyers by DBusiness Magazine from 2014 through 2025 and was named a Super Lawyers Selectee from 2023 to 2026, an honor awarded to a select group of attorneys in Michigan. Shawn earned his undergraduate degree in Sociology with a focus in criminal justice, graduating Cum Laude from Central Michigan University, before obtaining his Juris Doctor from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law. In addition to his legal practice, Shawn serves as the National Director of Crisis Management for Phi Sigma Phi National Fraternity Inc. and contributes his time to several nonprofit organizations. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling and spending time with his wife, children, and close friends.
