Akash Patel is an experienced workers’ compensation attorney at Hasner Law Injury & Workers’ Compensation Attorneys, where he represents injured workers throughout Georgia in complex and contested claims. Before transitioning to claimant advocacy, he defended employers and insurance carriers in workers’ compensation matters, giving him firsthand insight into defense strategy, risk assessment, and claims management practices. This dual-perspective experience allows him to anticipate opposing arguments, identify leverage points early, and build well-positioned cases designed to maximize client recovery. Akash regularly handles all phases of workers’ compensation litigation, including evidentiary hearings, motion practice, negotiations, and appellate matters. Akash earned his Juris Doctor from Mercer University School of Law, where he distinguished himself as a leader in trial advocacy. He won a regional championship at the National Mock Trial Competition and served as Moot Court Chair, demonstrating both courtroom skill and organizational leadership. He also served as President of the Asian Pacific American Law Students Association, reflecting his commitment to mentorship and professional development within the legal community. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, graduating cum laude with distinction, from Georgia State University, where he developed the rigorous analytical discipline and research acumen that continue to shape his strategic and results-driven legal practice.
