James K. Theisen

Attorney James K. Theisen joined Hupy and Abraham in 2014. With over twenty years of experience, he has handled insurance defense litigation, subrogation, and personal injury cases. He earned his Juris Doctor from Southern Illinois University School of Law in 2002 and is licensed to practice in Illinois, Iowa, and Missouri. Attorney Theisen is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and the Winnebago County Bar Association. He is also affiliated with A.B.A.T.E. of Illinois and is a member of both the Million Dollar Advocates Forum and the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum. During law school, he was actively involved in his academic and broader community, serving as a Student Ambassador for Southern Illinois University School of Law and participating in the William & Mary School of Law summer program in Madrid, Spain. These experiences reflect his commitment to leadership, service, and professional growth. Attorney Theisen received the Phi Delta Phi Award from Southern Illinois University School of Law in 2002, recognizing his academic excellence and dedication to the legal profession.
