I have been actively involved in fighting for the rights of Texas citizens for over 30 years. I have been actively involved in the Texas Trial Lawyers Association since 2000. I have served as a Board of Director since 2003, Vice President of Membership from 2010 to 2012, and President of the Texas Trial Lawyers Association in 2014. I also serve as a Director of the Dallas Trial Lawyers Association since 2007, and I am a member of the Capital Area Trial Lawyers Association. I also serve on the Board of Governors of the American Association for Justice. I am a member of the Million Dollar and Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum, as well as a member of the Association of Interstate Trucking Lawyers of America. I have been recognized by Thomson Reuters for Super Lawyers every year since 2009. I have also been honored as a Best Lawyer in Austin by Austin Monthly, Best Lawyers in America, and an AV Preeminent Peer Review Rating by Martindale-Hubbell, the highest rating, and a Superb “10.0” rating from AVVO, also the highest rating. I have been recognized by my peers in being awarded the prestigious John Howie Award by the Dallas Trial Lawyers Association, and the Don Bowen Award for Distinguished Service by the Texas Trial lawyers Association. I have tried numerous personal injury cases throughout Texas, and I have handled numerous multi-million-dollar settlements for over 30 years. I am an invited speaker on various topics involving personal injury law. My law practice focuses on various types of personal injury cases involving catastrophic injury and wrongful death, including automotive cases, commercial motor vehicle cases, premises cases, construction cases, and workplace injury cases.
