Mr. Mitch Miers

Born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas, Attorney Mitch Miers and Griffin Miers, LLP are here to ensure that justice is served among the citizens of Tarrant County who are need of a divorce and family law attorney or criminal defense attorney. Growing up in Southwest Fort Worth, Mitch was active in the community and athletics while attending Southwest High School. After graduation, Mitch attended the University of Texas at Austin. After a few years in the corporate world, Mitch enrolled at St. Mary’s University School of Law in San Antonio. At St. Mary’s Mitch was recognized for Moot Court and participated in various student organizations. During this time he also interned for two years with the Texas Office of the Attorney General working on family law issues. Becoming a member of the Texas Bar just after graduation, Mitch began to represent clients in the San Antonio area. After a short time Mitch came home to Tarrant county working at the Coffey Firm. In the years that followed Mitch worked thousands of DWI cases, and developed his own philosophy of client service and case management leading to the establishment of the Miers Law Firm. Mitch Miers has been named a Top Attorney in Fort Worth, Texas Magazine on three occasions (December 2012, December 2013, December 2014 issues). Mitch Miers is a member of the National College of DUI Defense (NCDD), Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association (TCDLA), National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (NACDL), Tarrant County Criminal Defense Lawyers Association (TCDLA), and the Tarrant County Bar Association among others. Mitch looks forward to serving his clients in need of a DWI lawyer, criminal defense attorney, or divorce and family law lawyer. Mitch is a resident of Grapevine, Texas and is active in the Grapevine-Colleyville schools.
