About

Travis McCarter has been a lifelong resident of East Tennessee. He attended Sevier County High School before receiving his undergraduate degree and a law degree from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. During his academic career, Travis achieved a distinguished record, graduating cum laude from UT and making the Dean’s List while at UT College of Law. Mr. McCarter is one of the most successful trial attorneys in East Tennessee. He has gained invaluable experience handling cases of all types at all levels of state and federal court. In fact, he is one of the few attorneys in the area who can say they have successfully argued and won a case in front of the Court of Appeals, secured a six-figure verdict in a civil trial, and successfully conducted a criminal homicide trial at which the defendant was able to avoid a conviction. Mr. McCarter is a highly respected lawyer in our area. He has argued cases in state and federal courts and is known for his dedication to his clients. When he's not practicing law, Mr. McCarter enjoys attending church, golfing, and spending time with his family. He is a loving husband and father and takes great pride in being the best possible role model for his children.
