Laurie Ann Schmidt

We strive to provide high quality representation for clients experiencing family law issues or who faces criminal charges. I have developed this firm to be a resource and ally in navigating a very complex legal system. I started my courtroom career as a deputy district attorney representing the county of Riverside, California. When I made the decision to leave the district attorney's office I had the knowledge of an insider on how a district attorney would view and consider cases. I have represented and tried many different types of cases from DUI-aclohol, DUI-drugs, marijuana impairment, domestic violence cases of all sorts and varieties, divorce actions, and child custody cases. I have completed an intensive course on presenting DUI/criminal cases at Harvard Law School. I am a member of several prestigious organizations and have received a TOP 10 Attorneys Under 40 award from the National Academy of Criminal Defense Attorneys, Inc., and top 100 criminal defense trial lawyers from the National Trial Lawyers.
