Tricia D. Goostree

Tricia D. Goostree brings more than two decades of focused family law experience to her role as founder and managing partner of Goostree Law Group, P.C. in St. Charles, Illinois. Her path toward litigation began early, first as a childhood ambition and later as a defining part of her education at Eastern Illinois University, where she joined the mock trial team. She continued building those advocacy skills at the John Marshall Law School, attending on a Dean’s Scholarship, winning the Dean Fred F. Herzog Moot Court Competition, receiving a Moot Court Executive Board scholarship, and competing in moot court events beyond campus. Her work with the Illinois Attorney General’s Office and the Chicago Legal Clinic gave her early practical experience in consumer fraud, divorce, Orders of Protection, child support enforcement, and Cook County Domestic Relations proceedings. Since 2002, Tricia has dedicated her practice to family law and domestic relations, including complex financial litigation, maintenance disputes, contested custody cases, and appeals in Cook, Kane, DuPage, Kendall, and DeKalb counties. Clients value her direct, compassionate approach, and her peers have recognized her through honors including Illinois Super Lawyer, Illinois Leading Lawyer, and Best Lawyer. Tricia has also contributed her time to Prairie State Legal Services, the Northern Illinois Food Bank, pro bono representation, and the Kane County Bar Association & Foundation. Away from the firm, she enjoys baseball, competitive bodybuilding, and traveling with her husband.
