About
Patrick Campbell serves as an Associate at Gimbel, Reilly, Guerin & Brown, LLP in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Before joining the firm, he focused his legal career on criminal defense across municipal, state, and federal jurisdictions. During his time at law school in Madison, Patrick developed a strong interest in criminal law, particularly in defending those accused of crimes. He gained valuable experience as a law clerk for Judge Ralph Ramirez in the Waukesha County Circuit Court. In his second year, Patrick participated in the Prosecution Project Clinic at the University of Wisconsin and interned with the Portage County District Attorney’s Office. After graduating, he worked as an Assistant District Attorney in Sheboygan County before returning to Waukesha to continue his role as a prosecutor. Patrick has also practiced as a defense attorney in both Milwaukee and Madison, managing a diverse range of felony and misdemeanor cases. His first jury trial as a defense attorney involved an OWI case that concluded with a swift 15-minute acquittal. Prior to his work in defense, Patrick handled multiple jury trials as a prosecutor, including cases involving OWI, arson, fleeing, armed robbery, and more. He is dedicated to ensuring justice for his clients and strives to achieve the best possible outcomes for each case. In recognition of his efforts, Patrick was honored as a “Rising Star” by Super Lawyer magazine in 2024. Beyond his legal work, Patrick is a Board Member at CelticMKE, the organization behind Milwaukee’s annual Irish Fest. He enjoys spending time with his fiancée, Lorien, and exploring the parks and breweries throughout Milwaukee County.
