Jeanne Marie Browne

Mediator and Collaborative Process Attorney assisting couples in the divorce and legal separation process. My goal is to make a positive difference for clients and their children who are surrounded with negative events and sometimes traumatic circumstances. My private family law practice has been in Santa Rosa for 30 years. I have served as Co-President of the Collaborative Council of the Redwood Empire (CCRE), an organization of attorneys, mental health providers, and financial specialists committed to out-of-court resolution. My experience on the Family Law Committee for the Sonoma County Bar Association has given me great insight. As a board member of the Sonoma County Legal Services Foundation assisting low income clients, I am aware and attuned to those in need. It was a privilege to honored at Empire College’s 50th Anniversary Jubilee Celebration in 2011. I was an instructor with the Court-Involved Therapists Training (CIT) Program for local mental health professionals to learn about family law. I serve as a Settlement Conference Panelist for the Sonoma County Superior Court to help parties settle cases before a trial occurs. Previously I served as appointed as Minor’s Counsel to be the voice of the children in high-conflict custody matters. She and her husband Bill have been married 37 years and they have two grown daughters. They enjoy hiking, reading, and family outdoor adventures.
