Martin R. Galbut

Martin R. Galbut is the co-founder and managing partner of Galbut Beabeau, P.C., located in Phoenix, Arizona. Devoting his practice exclusively to business litigation, mediation and arbitration in many areas of commerce, he represents clients throughout the Phoenix metropolitan area in matters involving securities law, shareholder and owner disputes, antitrust violations, intellectual property protection, insurance, employment law, real estate transactions, defense of claimed lawyer malpractice and health care issues. His reputation among his peers has earned Mr. Galbut much recognition, including an AV Preeminent* rating for over 30 years from Martindale-Hubbell and numerous listings in Best Lawyers in America**, local magazines and U.S. News & World Reports.. A 1968 recipient of a Bachelor of Science Degreefrom Northwestern University, Mr. Galbut attended Northwestern University School of Law and was awarded a Juris Doctorate cum laude, in 1971. He was a Clarion Dewitt Hardy Debate Scholar and Kosmeryl Scholar, and the recipient of a Russell Sage grant and receipient of numerous awards. He was a National high school debate champion, leading to his college and law school scholarships. Admitted to practice in Arizona, he is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the District of Arizona and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit. Mr. Galbut has also served as an arbitrator for both the American Arbitration Association and the National Association of Securities Dealers/FINRA. A speaker and moderator at continuing legal education programs conducted by the State Bar of Arizona, Mr. Galbut lectures at professional conferences on topics related to his practice areas. He has also published articles and other materials on securities law, commercial real property litigation, arbitration and mediation.
