David John Schupp

Originally from Buffalo, New York, David built his early foundation in legal studies at the University at Buffalo before trading snowy winters for life in sunny Austin. He and his wife quickly embraced Texas as home. Prior to entering law school, David spent several years working in personal injury intake — first as a Client Intake Specialist and later as an Intake Manager — where countless conversations with injured individuals sparked his commitment to informed, compassionate advocacy. During his time at Lewis & Clark Law School, David concentrated on civil litigation and served as a peer mentor to fellow students. After earning his degree, he began his career as an insurance subrogation attorney. This role offered an inside look at how insurance companies evaluate and defend claims, giving David valuable insight he now uses to strategically and effectively litigate against them. Today, David excels as part of the collaborative legal team at FVF Law. His background has shaped him into a client-focused attorney who is dedicated to guiding injury victims through the often-complex landscape of personal injury law. Outside the office, David can be found exploring new destinations, enjoying video games and sports, or spending time outdoors with his wife, Sam, and their Boston Terrier, Maisie. As enthusiastic Austinites, they love taking in the city’s vibrant food scene and music culture.
