About

I am Jonathan Freidin, the Managing Partner at Freidin Brown, P.A. Since I joined the firm in 2014, I have handled some of our most challenging personal injury cases and have represented clients in multiple jury trials involving catastrophic injuries. My practice is primarily focused on medical malpractice and complex personal injury claims. I am deeply committed to my clients and am known throughout the firm for my meticulous attention to detail in every case I handle. I graduated summa cum laude from George Washington University in 2009, where I was a recipient of the Presidential Merit Scholarship and served as a Student Justice on the University’s disciplinary court. After my undergraduate studies, I returned to Florida to pursue my Juris Doctor at the University of Florida Levin College of Law, graduating cum laude in 2012. During my time in law school, I was an editor for the Florida Law Review and worked as a Certified Legal Intern at the Public Defender’s Office, representing indigent clients in court. Additionally, I served as a judicial extern for Judge Alan Gold in the Southern District of Florida. I earned book awards for achieving the highest grades in Appellate Advocacy and Child, Parent, & the State, and I also worked as a Teaching Assistant for Legal Research & Writing and Appellate Advocacy. Before joining Freidin Brown, P.A., I spent two years as a federal law clerk for the Honorable Donald M. Middlebrooks in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida. During my clerkship, I handled a variety of federal cases from inception to conclusion, including patent infringement, tort liability, employment discrimination, civil rights violations, and fraud cases. I also supported several appellate cases when Judge Middlebrooks served by designation on the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals.
