Jonathan Bernard Frank

Jon focuses his practice in the areas of civil litigation, employment, real estate, and business litigation. In 2026, he received the "Litigation Excellence" Award from the Litigation Section of the State Bar of Michigan. He is a regular contributor to state and local legal journals, writing on topics including business fraud, software development litigation, problem-solving, and mediation. He also provides arbitration and mediation services in business cases. First and foremost, his goal is to resolve business disputes with the best bottom-line result possible, understanding that these are business problems that require business solutions. Often the solutions involve creative approaches, especially when long-standing relationships are involved. But if the parties can't reach an amicable resolution, Jon regularly takes cases to trial/arbitration. He is admitted to the bar in Michigan and California. He received his undergraduate degree, with distinction, from Stanford University in 1982, and his law degree, Cum Laude, from the University of Michigan in 1985. He is a past member of the Oakland County Bar Association Board of Directors and the former chair of two OCBA committees. He has been listed as a "Super Lawyer" since 2013.
