Joseph Nah

With over 20 years of experience, I am a civil litigator and legal advisor with a practice that includes high-stakes litigation, complex real estate and title disputes, regulatory compliance, and commercial transactions. As a former Assistant Vice President and in-house counsel for one of the largest title insurance companies in the country, I have developed a deep understanding of real estate litigation, risk management, and post-judgment enforcement. Over the course of my career, I have achieved multimillion-dollar judgments and settlements in state and federal courts, handled appeals, and defended clients facing complex fraud, negligence, and subrogation claims. My background in both in-house roles and private practice allows me to effectively represent a wide range of clients, including Fortune 500 companies and individuals, in real estate, commercial, regulatory, and cross-border matters. Before joining this firm, I worked as in-house counsel for Fidelity National Title Group companies, where I managed litigation in Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia. I also previously served as a partner at The Metropolitan Law Group, litigating business torts, contract disputes, and FCPA-related claims. Additionally, during my time as corporate counsel at US Airways and CARFAX, I negotiated complex international and intellectual property agreements. I earned my J.D. cum laude from American University, where I contributed to the Law Review, and my B.S. in Finance and Management from the University of Virginia. I began my legal career as a judicial clerk for the Honorable Barry R. Poretz in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, Alexandria Division.
