With three decades of legal experience, Sue Hunt has dedicated her career to helping families enhance their lives today and secure their futures. As a strategist who loves both puzzles and people, Sue excels at analyzing the many threads of her clients’ lives. Sue’s extensive background in family law, real estate law, and small business law equips her to address a myriad of issues that may arise in family planning. Her legal expertise spans family protection, wealth preservation, elder law, and values-based planning. She also creates strategies for unmarried couples, same-sex couples, blended families, and divorced individuals. Sue earned her Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and her Juris Doctor from Wake Forest University School of Law in 1994. She is a member of the North Carolina State Bar, the North Carolina Bar Association, the Greensboro Bar Association, the Financial Service Advisors Council (Greensboro), WealthCounsel—a national organization of estate planning attorneys and financial professionals, EPiC Peer Group, and the Women’s Professional Forum. Additionally, Sue serves on the Board of Directors for Sanctuary House of Greensboro and the Financial Service Advisors Council. Originally from Springfield, Illinois, and raised in Rising Sun, Indiana, Sue has called Greensboro, North Carolina, her home since 1989.
