Julie Anna Rountree

Julie Rountree is an of counsel attorney with Florida Women’s Law Group, where she works with women across northeast Florida who are moving through divorce and other family changes. Her work centers on helping clients make steady, informed decisions during a time that often feels overwhelming. She is known for meeting people where they are and helping them find a clear path forward when things feel uncertain. In practice, Julie focuses on the emotional and practical sides of divorce at the same time. She pays close attention to what clients are dealing with day to day, not just what is happening on paper. Clients often describe the experience of working with her as steady and grounded. She takes the time to explain options in plain language and helps people feel more prepared for each next step, rather than rushed or talked over. Julie began her career after earning a criminology degree from the University of Florida and a law degree from Stetson University College of Law. She has spent nearly two decades working in family law and has been part of Florida Women’s Law Group since the firm first opened its doors. Along the way, she expanded her work to include divorce coaching, which reflects her interest in helping people manage change both legally and personally. Outside of work, Julie volunteers with the Jacksonville Humane Society and values time that helps her stay connected, balanced, and present for the people she serves.
