John Mark Andersen

A recognized leader in the field, John Andersen is a partner at Ferguson Case Orr Paterson. A Certified Specialist in Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Law by the California State Bar since 2008, John is also an Executive Committee Board Member of the Trusts and Estates Section of the California State Bar that advises the California legislature on laws effecting estate planning and a “Top Lawyer” Super Lawyer in Estate Planning and Probate. John guides couples, families, individuals, entrepreneurs, business owners, and public figures of all means, in all aspects of estate planning, trusts and probate and creates a custom plan that protects, provides and prospers what matters most to them. John has extensive experience with complex wealth transfer planning, business succession planning, special needs planning and personal privacy planning. John represents trustees, executors and beneficiaries with the administration of trusts and probates and is authorized to practice before the IRS. Prior to joining Ferguson Case Orr Paterson, John honed his expertise at the leading national and local law firms of Nordman, Cormany, Hair and Compton in Ventura, CA , Carr, Mclellan, Ingersoll, Thompson and Horn in the San Francisco bay area and Perkins Coie in Seattle, WA. John is a graduate of UCLA and University of California Hastings College of Law, Co-Chair of Channel Islands University Planned Giving Council and recently served as President of the Conejo Valley Estate Planning Council. John is bilingual in English and Danish.
