About

For nearly three decades, I have worked as a civil litigator, handling cases from both the defense and plaintiff perspectives. Over the past 20 years, my practice has focused on representing employees and individuals in employment and labor claims, workers' compensation matters, and personal injury cases. A significant portion of my work has involved high-stakes federal class actions and wage and hour disputes, including overtime and minimum wage claims, in courts across the country. I take pride in having recovered tens of millions of dollars for thousands of clients against companies such as Verizon, Select Rehab, Fleetcor, Fleetmatics, BK, Lowe's, N3, Sage Software, Marketsource, Carebridge, Reliant Rehab, and others. My trial experience spans a variety of case types, including wage and hour claims, personal injuries, automobile accidents, workers’ compensation matters, employment contracts, whistleblower actions, and even one criminal case. I have handled cases in state and federal courts in Florida, Georgia, and other jurisdictions including Connecticut, Illinois, and New York. Born in Brooklyn, NY in 1965, I earned my Juris Doctorate from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia in 1995. I joined the State Bar of Georgia that same year and the Florida Bar in 1996. Since then, I’ve actively practiced civil litigation in state and federal courts in Florida, Georgia, and various other federal courts across the United States. I’m especially proud of prevailing in numerous jury trials over the years. Most notably, in March 2016, I, along with co-counsel, succeeded in a multi-plaintiff Florida Minimum Wage and FLSA jury trial in the Middle District of Florida, Jacksonville Division. The case, Kubiak, et al v. Salt Water Cowboy, Inc. et al, Case No.: 3:12-CV-1306-J-34JRK, resulted in the jury awarding 100% of the damages sought.
