Steve Escovar

As a graduate from the U.C. Berkeley School of Law, I have been proudly serving clients in Southern California since 1994. That is over 30 years of commitment and case experience. I began my career as a Deputy Public Defender in San Diego and later in Los Angeles before beginning my own private practice in Pasadena in 1998. Since then, I have achieved numerous accolades and achievements including: served as President of the Los Angeles Criminal Courts Bar Association (2006); "Nation's Top 1%" of attorneys by the National Association of Distinguished Counsel (2015-2025); "Top 100 Criminal Trial Lawyers" by the National Trial Lawyers (2020-2025); and "Top Best Attorneys" by the American Institute of Personal Injury Attorneys (2023). As the founder of Escovar Law, APC, I have dedicated my legal career to "fighting the good fight," and have represented clients in high profile trials, appeals, and have appeared as a legal commentator on multiple Spanish-language television networks, including CNN Español, Telemundo, and Univision.
