I have dedicated the past 30 years to navigating the complexities of Family Law, with a particular focus on Child Custody cases. Over the course of my career, I have personally handled more than 1,000 cases involving child custody disputes. I am especially committed to assisting families facing emergency custody situations, domestic violence, or restraining order issues. In such cases, I can often secure appropriate orders within hours to ensure the safety of both you and your children. From the very start of my legal journey, I have been a strong advocate for victims of domestic violence, even during times when the courts did not take these matters as seriously as they do today. I have a deep understanding of the challenges victims face, including the reasons they may return to abusers or leave their children in the care of abusers before making the final decision to leave permanently. Drawing on my extensive experience in high-stakes child custody trials, I provide thoughtful guidance to clients dealing with complex issues such as mental health challenges—particularly cluster B personality disorders like histrionic, borderline, narcissistic, and anti-social disorders—and chemical dependency, including the abuse of alcohol, opiates, methamphetamines, and benzodiazepines. In the courtroom, I strive to create a sense of confidence and ease for my clients. I am prepared to take on even the most challenging and intricate cases. My colleagues often recognize my confidence, persuasive arguments, and extensive trial experience, and many refer their clients to me when a case is likely to go to trial.
