A. Cody Emerson

Cody Emerson is the founding and managing partner of Emerson Law P.A. Cody is a native Floridian, raised in Pensacola, FL. Cody attended Florida State University, where he obtained post-secondary degrees in finance and another in real estate. Thereafter, he attended Florida State University's College of Law. During law school, Cody gained familiarity with the practice of marital and family law litigation through his participation with the Florida State University Public Interest Law Center, committing his time to representing indigent clients in the Florida family law system. During law school, Cody quickly recognized his passion for courtroom litigation. He continued to grow his experience with the day-to-day practice of trial attorneys through his clerkship with a foreclosure defense law firm in Tallahassee. Since moving into private practice, Cody has broadened his litigation practice to all areas of family law and personal injury law. Cody has extensive experience as a litigation attorney, completing numerous trials and regularly appearing before the Court for hearings on matters requiring expeditious Court intervention. Cody has been selected as a Super Lawyers’ "Rising Star" for each year from 2020 – 2025, a recognition by his peers of his outstanding work and commitment to the spirit of the legal profession. On weekends, Cody enjoys golfing, spending time with his Wife, Rayna, and being a father to their two beautiful daughters.
