Timothy R Muehleisen

At Edelman & Muehleisen, LLC, I concentrate my practice in the areas of personal injury and workers compensation matters, along with minor criminal and traffic matters. Before forming Edelman & Muehleisen, LLC, I was with Smith Amundsen, a multi-practice law firm based in Chicago, Illinois. While there, I handled matters in a variety of areas including labor and employment disputes, construction litigation, contract disputes, commercial litigation, premises liability, products liability, toxic torts and general insurance defense. Prior to my time at Smith Amundsen, I was a partner at the law firm of Moser & Marsalek, PC in St. Louis. After 12 years spent mostly defending lawsuits, I decided that it was time to take that knowledge and skill set and begin practicing on the plaintiff side. During my career, I have taken cases to conclusion through trial or settlement on behalf of individuals, corporations, and small businesses. In addition to my trial work, I have handled more than 100 mediations/arbitrations and have been very successful with disposing of matters prior to trial, obtaining favorable decisions on Motions for Summary Judgment and Motions to Dismiss in both State and Federal Court. In 2011, I was honored by Missouri Lawyers Weekly as one of its 2011 Up & Coming Lawyers. The award honors attorneys under the age of 40. The recipient epitomizes excellence in the legal community and is identified as a leader in the community-at-large. In addition, Tim was also selected for inclusion in Missouri & Kansas Super Lawyers as a Rising Star for 2011 and 2013, which recognizes attorneys under the age of 40 that have attained a high-degree of peer recognition and professional achievement.
