Howard Dworman

I was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. In 2006, I completed my BA in Criminal Justice at Western Michigan University. During my time there, I was an active member of the Criminal Justice Student Association and served as a Teaching Assistant for various criminal justice and sociology courses. I was honored with a certificate of appreciation from the College of Arts and Sciences for my contributions as a teaching assistant. In 2013, I left my position in community corrections to pursue a law degree. While in law school, I founded and presided over the Criminal Law Society and served as a student defender for the Honor Court. My peers elected me as a delegate to the Student Bar Association, and I also served as chapter Marshal for the Phi Alpha Delta national law fraternity. In 2015, I was awarded the Danny A. Foundation Memorial Scholarship in Criminal Law and graduated with my Juris Doctorate, finishing near the top of my class and earning several Dean’s List awards. My career began as an associate attorney at a local law firm, and I gained further experience working for the Arizona Attorney General’s office and the Maricopa County Public Defender’s office.
