About

I am a partner at the firm, working within the Business and Commercial Litigation department. My approach to litigation is pragmatic, and I have successfully represented a diverse range of businesses and individuals at trial, on appeal, and in ADR. My practice covers a broad spectrum of legal areas including banking and loan restructuring, breach of contract, the Clean Water Act, commercial lease disputes, construction disputes, creditor’s rights, defamation, director and officer liability, e-commerce, employment disputes, environmental litigation, foreclosures, international discovery assistance pursuant to 28 U.S.C. §1782, mechanic’s liens, minority shareholder rights, Ohio’s Consumer Sales Practices Act R.C. 1345.01 et. seq., professional negligence, property rights, receivers, stock fraud, supply chain litigation, the Telephone Consumer Protection Act of 1991 47 U.S.C. §227, the Uniform Commercial Code, and wetland permitting and litigation. I have been honored as a Super Lawyer Rising Star eight times in the past ten years and hold an AV Preeminent rating with Martindale Hubbell. I joined Dworken & Bernstein in 2007 after earning my Juris Doctorate with a concentration in litigation from Case Western Reserve University in 2005. I completed my undergraduate studies in 2001 at Ithaca College, where I received a Bachelor of the Arts degree in Psychology. During my time there, I co-authored and presented studies on juror member decision-making to the American Psychological Association.
