Thomas Durkin

I have been assisting individuals for over 25 years in the areas of Social Security Disability/SSI, personal injury, and work-related injuries. Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of helping thousands of people navigate their legal cases. I’ve handled more than 1,000 disability/SSI hearings, hundreds of worker’s compensation hearings, and several jury trials. I’ve also argued cases in Federal Court in the Eastern District of Wisconsin and had cases go before the Wisconsin Supreme Court. When I take on a case, I approach it with thorough preparation, compassion, and understanding. I’m committed to providing competent representation and striving for successful outcomes. I will always stand in your corner, serve as your voice, and fight to secure what you deserve. In addition to my legal practice, I’ve published guides to help people better understand Social Security Disability/SSI and children’s SSI cases. I’m involved in several national organizations focusing on Social Security Disability and even contributed to re-writing the rules for Social Security Disability cases in the Eastern District of Wisconsin. My work has earned recognition, including being named an elite lawyer in Social Security Disability and one of the nation’s top 100 trial lawyers. Beyond my legal work, I’m passionate about supporting my community. I’ve served as a City Planning Commissioner in Racine, been on the Board of Directors for the Health Care Network and the ARC of Racine County, and am an active member of Rotary.
