Gerald L. Maatman, Jr. is Chair of Duane Morris’ Class Action Defense Group and one of the nation’s leading authorities on class action and employment litigation. With nearly four decades of experience, he has defended many of the most significant bet-the-company cases filed against corporate America, representing Fortune 500 companies, executive teams, and boards across the country in complex class actions involving thousands to hundreds of thousands of claims. Mr. Maatman’s track record includes defeating the largest systemic enforcement action ever brought by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the first Attorney General prosecution of a Wall Street company for workplace discrimination and harassment, and the largest wage and hour class and collective actions ever filed in Florida and New York.
