About

I am a shareholder and chair of the Bankruptcy, Restructuring, and Creditors’ Rights group at Drummond Woodsum in Portland, Maine. My practice is focused on bankruptcy matters, commercial litigation, and transactions involving distressed companies. I regularly represent financial institutions, official and ad hoc creditors’ committees, lenders, debtors, asset purchasers, equity holders, and trustees. I have significant experience handling bankruptcy and litigation cases in New England and across the country. I provide guidance on all aspects of the restructuring and bankruptcy process, including DIP lending, cash collateral issues, plan negotiation and drafting, asset sales, and litigation involving fraudulent conveyance and preferences. Additionally, I work with clients on out-of-court debt restructurings, Article 9 and real estate foreclosures, receiverships, debtor/creditor litigation, lender liability disputes, and other commercial litigation matters. Beyond my client work, I am actively involved in the legal community. I frequently speak at conferences hosted by the American Bankruptcy Institute, the National Conference of Bankruptcy Judges, the Maine Bar Association, and other organizations on topics related to bankruptcy law and distressed debt. I also serve as the chair of the board of the New England chapter of the International Women’s Insolvency & Restructuring Confederation (IWIRC) and the Maine Bankruptcy Court Local Rules Committee. In 2024, I was honored to be selected for ABI’s 40 Under 40 award, which recognizes top professionals in the insolvency industry under the age of 40. Before joining Drummond Woodsum, I worked as an associate at an international law firm in Boston, Massachusetts. I earned my law degree from Boston College Law School in 2015 and completed my undergraduate studies at Colby College.
