Kevin G. Drendel

Kevin G. Drendel Cornell College, cum laude, and a 1991 graduate of Northern Illinois University College of Law, magna cum laude. While at Northern Illinois University, he was a member of the Law Review, and published an article in the University’s scholarly (NIU Law Review 73, 1990). He also received the West Publishing Award for Outstanding Scholastic Achievement. He is admitted to practice in front of all Illinois State Courts and the U.S. District Court, the Northern District of Illinois. Kevin is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and the Kane County Bar Association: Director (1999-2000), Sec/Treasure (2000-2001), 1st Vice President (2002-2003), and President (2003-2004); Chair of the Local Government Law Committee; Member of the Estate & Probate, Website, Membership, Judicial Evaluation, Appellate Practice and the Delivery of Legal Services Committees; Board Member the Kane County Bar Foundation (2003-2004). Member: Community Foundation Council of Professional Advisors. Former Member: Fox Valley Estate Planning Council. Member: Board of Directors of the Fox Valley Music Foundation (2014 to present) and North Aurora Lion’s Club (2008 to present). Member: Christian Legal Society (1990 to present). Member: Illinois Municipal League. Former Member: Illinois Institute for Local Governmental Law. Former Member and Secretary: Illinois Chapter of the National Association of Telecommunication Officials & Advisors. Member: Board of Directors of Administer Justice, the national organization, and he Advisory Board of Administer Justice, the Chicago Suburban region. Supervisor: The Aurora Legal Aid Clinic. He is the General Counsel for the Village of North Aurora and City of Batavia.
