Emily M. DeSantis

I founded DeSantis Family Law to serve families in Northern Kentucky and Ohio with a personalized and intentional approach. For me, this work is far more than a career—it’s a calling and a purpose. Since 2013, I’ve devoted my practice exclusively to family law, often taking on some of the most difficult cases. Whether it’s navigating high-conflict custody disputes, emotionally intense divorces, or deeply personal matters, I approach each case with a combination of strategic legal thinking and emotional awareness. I understand that family law isn’t just about legal processes—it’s about helping people through some of the most transformative moments of their lives. Advocating for children has always been a central part of my journey. Over the course of my career, I’ve served as a Guardian ad Litem, collaborated with the Children’s Law Center, supported survivors at the Women’s Crisis Center, and was honored to be appointed by the governor to the Kentucky Child Support Guidelines Review Commission. I earned my J.D. from NKU Chase College of Law and hold licenses to practice in both Kentucky and Ohio. My clients value the compassion, honesty, and dedication I bring to every case. I firmly believe that when families face their most vulnerable moments, they need an attorney who listens, prepares, and works diligently to create meaningful change and positive results.
