Michael William DeWitt

I develop strong relationships with clients and believe that frequent and honest communication between lawyer and client is the key to those relationships. I'm an experienced trial and appellate lawyer who has litigated cases in most Ohio counties and in various federal courts across the country and in arbitration, primarily at the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA). I've argued appellate matters in Ohio appellate courts, and in the Fourth and Sixth Circuit U.S. Courts of Appeal. I primarily represent corporate clients in business disputes, both prior to and after the institution of litigation and during my career, I've assisted clients in matters involving breach of contract, fraudulent inducement of contract and enforcement and defense of non-compete contracts, as well defending entities against allegations of bad faith and punitive damages.
