Thomas Lamm

I am a dedicated advocate for clients facing workers’ compensation and personal injury cases, pursuing justice and fairness with compassion and determination. My approach is rooted in a commitment to protecting my clients’ interests and ensuring they receive the compensation, benefits, and medical treatment they need. Before representing plaintiffs, I worked on the other side of workers’ compensation litigation, defending insurance companies and employers. This experience gave me valuable insight into how claims are handled from their perspective, which I now use to strategically and effectively represent my clients. I am proud to be among a select group of board-certified attorneys in workers’ compensation law practicing in North Carolina. Additionally, I am a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, an exclusive organization for trial lawyers who have achieved million-dollar or multi-million-dollar verdicts, awards, or settlements. It is an honor to be part of a group that represents less than one percent of attorneys nationwide. Growing up as a pastor’s son in Bertie County, N.C., I developed a strong connection to my community and an understanding of the challenges injured individuals and their families face. I strive to provide every client with personalized and accessible legal representation, walking with them through what can be an overwhelming process. I earned my law degree cum laude from Campbell University School of Law, where I served as the Symposium Editor for the Campbell Law Review. I also won the Richard Lord Moot Court competition and led the Delta Theta Phi law fraternity as its President. My legal training included internships in workers’ compensation and Social Security Disability law. Before joining Deuterman Law, I practiced at Ricci Law Firm, P.A., in Greenville, representing clients in workers’ compensation and personal injury cases. I am committed to helping my clients navigate their legal challenges with confidence and care.
