Victoria Stepien

From a young age, I envisioned a career as an attorney, initially imagining myself practicing family law. However, during law school, my internships and clerkships at personal injury firms revealed a passion for helping individuals rebuild their lives after life-changing injuries. While attending Elon University School of Law, I had the opportunity to work as a legal resident and law clerk in the personal injury and workers’ compensation departments at the Deuterman Law Group. These experiences provided me with valuable insight and professional growth. After graduating from law school and being admitted to the bar, I joined the firm’s personal injury department as an associate attorney, working out of the Winston-Salem office. Practicing injury law has proven to be an ideal fit for my analytical mind and unconventional problem-solving approach. Most importantly, it allows me to assist people who are navigating the aftermath of accidents and injuries that impact all aspects of their lives. The most fulfilling part of my work is achieving the best possible outcomes for my clients and helping them move forward during difficult times. I earned my juris doctorate from Elon University School of Law in 2024, following my graduation from Rutgers University in 2021 with a degree in finance. During my time at Elon, I volunteered with Wills for Heroes, providing assistance to military veterans and first responders with wills and advance directives planning. I was also an active member of the Fellowship for Christian Lawyers. I am proud to be a member of the N.C. Bar Association, the N.C. Advocates for Justice, and the Forsyth County Bar Association. My previous professional experience includes an internship with the Gray Legal Group, where I worked on various personal injury cases, such as auto, truck, and motorcycle accidents, wrongful death, and third-party liability matters.
