Desiree J. Vance

I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Portland State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in criminology. Afterward, I attended Cal Northern School of Law in Chico, California, where I earned both a Master's degree in Legal Studies and a Juris Doctorate degree. I am honored to serve as a Trustee on the board of Trustees at Cal Northern School of Law. Before pursuing a career in law, I worked as a social worker for 16 years. This experience gave me a deep understanding of families and human behavior, which allows me to approach legal matters with empathy and a well-rounded perspective. I strive to combine my background and skills to provide my clients with compassionate and effective representation, ensuring their cases are handled with care and precision. As a mother of three children and the legal guardian to my nieces and nephews, I hold family and hard work close to my heart. I am adept at multitasking and welcome the challenge of addressing complex legal issues. When I’m not working, I enjoy crafting, gardening, and spending time with my springer spaniel.
