About
Dan Petroskey has built his career on compassionate and skilled advocacy for injured clients. Since joining the Connecticut Bar in 2004, he has exclusively represented plaintiffs in personal injury cases, successfully recovering millions of dollars for thousands of clients injured in motor vehicle accidents, slip-and-falls, premises liability, and dog bite incidents. Dan began at DeFronzo & Petroskey, PC, as an associate in 2013, became Attorney Eugene L. DeFronzo’s first and only partner in 2021, and now leads the firm with a commitment to its 60-year tradition of treating clients like family. His approach combines thorough legal preparation with genuine care, ensuring clients feel valued and understood throughout the process. A Connecticut native, Dan excelled at North Branford High School before playing four years of basketball at Colby College. He earned his law degree at Albany Law School and is admitted in both Connecticut and New York. Recognized by Best Lawyers and Super Lawyers, he is active in the Connecticut and Waterbury Bar Associations and serves as Chairman of the Board for the Rivera Memorial Foundation. Dan lives in Wallingford with his wife, two children, and pets. He gives back through youth sports coaching, founding a middle school mock trial team, and fostering dogs in need of homes—demonstrating the same compassion he shows his clients.
