Experience Prior to joining Deason Garner, Mr. Hansen worked for several years in the behavioral health field and then transitioned to the legal industry to work with Attorney Shawn Garner in the areas of Chapter 7 Federal Bankruptcy law, contract law, and civil litigation. In 2014, Mr. Hansen was admitted to practice law in Arizona. Mr. Hansen is a featured presenter in the firm’s monthly FREE Estate Planning Seminars. Education Mr. Hansen holds a Juris Doctorate degree from Arizona Summit Law School (Phoenix) and a Bachelor’s degree from Arizona State University (Tempe). Mr. Hansen’s undergraduate focus was in Spanish linguistics, with extensive study and application in translation. Mr. Hansen also holds an Associate’s degree from Pima Community College (Tucson). Personal Mr. Hansen was born in Washington state, but moved to south eastern Arizona when he was very young. Mr. Hansen lived in Spain for two years shortly after graduating high school, learning about the Spanish culture and language through service. Mr. Hansen met his wife Jessica while attending Arizona State University in Tempe. Jessica is also an Arizona State University graduate and former elementary school teacher (Third Grade). Mr. Hansen and Jessica have five children: Dominick, Christian, Isabella (Twin), Gabriella (Twin), and Anabelle. Mr. Hansen loves family time. Whether it’s playing in the pool or river, or playing ball in the backyard, Mr. Hansen loves to be with his family. Mr. Hansen also looks forward to weekly date night with his wife. In addition to a busy law practice and speaking schedule, Mr. Hansen is actively involved in his local Church’s youth program, including active participation in his Boy Scouts of America’s Venturing Troop.
