Jack R. Hilgeman

Mr. Hilgeman concentrates his practice in the areas of personal injury, medical malpractice, nursing home negligence and product liability. He is recognized by Martindale-Hubbell as an AV Preeminent attorney (highest peer rating standard which signifies that peers rank him at the highest level of professional excellence for legal knowledge, communication skills and ethical standards) and a Super Lawyers Rising Star (less than 2.5% of all attorneys in Ohio under the age of 40). Mr. Hilgeman is also rated as a Top Attorney by AVVO (10.0/10.0) and has received the AVVO Client’s Choice Award and Martindale-Hubbell’s Client Distinction Award for client satisfaction. He is a member of the Dayton Bar Association, Ohio State Bar Association, Miami Valley Trial Lawyers Association, the Ohio Association of Justice and the American Association of Justice. Mr. Hilgeman serves as the Vice Chair for the Dayton Bar Association Bar Examination Character and Fitness Committee and is a member of the Civil Trial Practice Committee. He also participates in the Dayton Volunteer Lawyers Project which provides pro bono legal services to benefit those with limited financial resources. Mr. Hilgeman is admitted to practice in the state courts of Ohio and California, the United States District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Ohio, the United States District Court for the Southern District of California, the United States Courts of Appeal for the Sixth Circuit and Ninth Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court. Mr. Hilgeman has also represented clients in Multi-District Litigation regarding product liability claims in various federal courts throughout the country.
