Stephen Cortes is an Oklahoma City attorney with over 17 years of legal experience in both the public and private sectors. Stephen is passionate about helping individuals, families, and business owners achieve peace of mind by developing and implementing creative cost effective plans tailored for each client. He believes that effective estate planning is critical to the financial and physical well-being of his clients. “I am grateful for the opportunity to be involved in the process,” he says. With over 17 years of legal experience in the public and private sectors, Stephen has served in leadership roles as General Counsel for Governor Brad Henry, and Referee of the Oklahoma Court of Civil Appeals. He is a graduate of the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation Citizens’ Academy, a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association, Oklahoma County Bar Association and is a Leadership Oklahoma Lifetime Member. Stephen’s commitment to helping others includes volunteering and serving as a Board Member of the Oklahoma City Rescue Mission. In addition, he hosts an annual charity event that, over the last 10 years, has raised over $200,000 for children’s charities.
