Nathan B. Hakimi

I grew up in the Chicagoland area and pursued my undergraduate studies in Cognitive Science at Brandeis University before earning my law degree from IIT Chicago-Kent College of Law. I began my legal career practicing medical malpractice defense for three years at Sax Law and HeplerBroom, where I represented nurses, hospitals, and doctors in professional negligence lawsuits. Following that, I transitioned to a role at JPMorgan’s corporate banking division, where I facilitated the negotiation and implementation of complex financing contracts. In 2022, I took the step of founding my own practice. What began as "Hakimi Law" has since been rebranded as CorePoint Law LLC. My work focuses on commercial litigation, business transactions, deal negotiation, dispute resolution, and trial practice. I strive to approach every matter with a strategic and tactical mindset, aiming to achieve successful outcomes while maintaining fairness and integrity in all aspects of the legal system. I live in the West Rogers Park neighborhood of Chicago with my three children. As an active participant in the Orthodox Jewish community, I also enjoy playing and listening to music, as well as studying philosophy and science.
