As an Elder Law attorney, I focus my practice on legal planning that addresses the lifetime needs of older individuals, disabled persons, their caregivers, and their families. Once these lifetime needs are addressed, I also develop estate plans to manage the distribution of assets after death. Unlike traditional estate plans, an Elder Law estate plan prioritizes lifetime needs, even in postmortem planning, ensuring that the design reflects the aspirations and needs of my clients and their loved ones. I understand the major concerns facing older individuals and their families, including managing assets in case of disability, protecting life savings, planning for long-term care, addressing incapacity, accessing health care and public benefits, and preparing for the distribution of assets upon death. My practice involves planning for these matters, as well as addressing health care decisions, retirement considerations, and other unique legal challenges associated with aging. As an Elder Law attorney, I am particularly attuned to the specific needs of older clients, and I take pride in providing advice and recommendations that help protect their assets while preserving their personal choices.
