About

Defense attorney Veronica Bayó Clifford is the co-founder of the Clifford Law Group in Raleigh, North Carolina. She and husband Nicholas Clifford founded the firm to help those in the North Carolina Triangle who are struggling with immigration issues and people facing criminal charges. Veronica has dedicated her career to helping those who are experiencing some of the most difficult times of their lives. She is passionate about her work, and she takes her role as a lawyer seriously. Guiding her clients through complex legal processes is of utmost importance to her. Veronica majored in communication studies at Florida State University while minoring in political science and classical civilizations. After graduating with her bachelor's degree, she enrolled at Florida State University's College of Law where she studied while working as a law clerk at the Law Firm of Gray Robinson, P.A. In 2008, she graduated with her Juris Doctor and became licensed to practice law. As an attorney, she has been a member of several firms, increasing her experience until founding her own practice. Hundreds of clients have experienced Veronica's attention to detail and proactive approach. She has taken on a range of felony and misdemeanor criminal charge cases, including DUI, drug charges, violent crimes, property crimes and traffic offenses. In addition, she has extensively studied the issue of pharmaceutical drugs and the laws regulating them, including giving several presentations on the subject at law conferences and seminars. As a fluent speaker of Spanish, Veronica is able to connect with clients facing difficult immigration issues. She understands the legal red tape surrounding visas, green cards and other necessary steps for immigration can be stressful and overwhelming. She is dedicated to helping clients complete these tasks quickly and with as little stress as possible.
