Norman Cuadra

Norman Cuadra is a managing partner at the firm of Cuadra and Patel, LLC and the Law Firm of Norman H. Cuadra, PC. He graduated from University of Florida with a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Sciences and also graduated from Nova Southeastern University-Shepard Broad Law Center with his Juris Doctor. Norman H. Cuadra is also presently the Chief Judge of the Suwanee Municipal Court. He has been a judge for the last 18 years. He is presently the Chief Judge for the City of Suwanee. He was an Associate Judge with the City of Chamblee and the City of Doraville. He coached the North Gwinnett High School Mock Trial Team to a District Championship in 2015. He is a member of the Georgia Bar, Criminal Section of the Georgia Bar, Family Law Section of the Georgia Bar, Gwinnett Bar, Gwinnett Criminal Defense Bar and the Forsyth Criminal Defense Bar. He was past President of the Gwinnett County Criminal Defense Bar, past Board Member of the Commission of Interpreters, 4th District Representative for the Council of Municipal Court Judges, and is currently on the Judicial Standing Committee on Interpreters, and previously served on the COVID-19 Judicial Task Force. He has taught several courses for the Institute of Continuing Legal Education, the Institute of Continuing Judicial Education, and the Municipal Court Clerks Certification Course. He has appeared on CNN, PBS and FOX 5 as a legal commentator. One interesting fact about him is that he’s an ordained Deacon at Sugar Hill Church, in Sugar Hill, GA and serves as on the Sugar Hill Pastoral Council.
