Brett Christiansen

I am Brett Christiansen, the Managing Shareholder and Partner at The Christiansen Law Firm. My practice focuses on probate, trusts, estate planning, and business law. In probate, I handle all aspects, whether there is a will or not. My work in family law centers on agreed divorces, collaborative divorce, pre-marital and post-marital agreements, and other agreed family matters. On the business side, I concentrate on commercial contracts, particularly those related to technology, including negotiating and drafting software and intellectual property agreements, mergers and acquisitions, business entity formation, commercial real estate, commercial finance, and general corporate matters. I also provide general counsel on an "as-needed" basis. Before starting my private practice, I served as General Counsel for a prominent national technology provider. Earlier in my career, I worked as a certified public accountant in Texas, gaining experience in both public and private accounting. “Family is at the core of who we are, whether that family is biological or chosen.
