Iovanna Borjas Jimenez

I am an Associate Attorney working in the litigation and probate administration departments at Chepenik Trushin LLP. I was born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela, and in 2017, I moved to the United States to pursue my undergraduate studies. I graduated magna cum laude from The University of Tampa in 2021, earning a B.A. in Journalism, with a minor in Public Relations and Communication. I then attended the University of Miami School of Law, where I graduated in 2024. During my law school years, I worked as a law clerk in various areas of law, focusing my efforts on Commercial Litigation, Contract Law, Real Estate Law, and Immigration. I started my career at Chepenik Trushin LLP in the summer of 2023 and became an associate upon my admission to the Florida Bar in September 2024. I am fluent in Spanish and enjoy spending time with family and friends, reading, traveling, and caring for my dog, Benito.
