Born and raised in Midlothian, Virginia, David G. Moss, Esq. is passionate about vigorously representing his neighbors, whether it be a criminal offense, landlord-tenant litigation, a family law matter, or general civil litigation. Mr. Moss graduated from Virginia Tech in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science Degree with a major in Biological Sciences (focus on Micro-Biology) and a minor in Chemistry (focus on Organic Chemistry). After a few years of working in the field of science, Mr. Moss chose to pursue a legal career and attended Penn State Law School. He graduated in May of 2017 and shortly thereafter, was admitted into the Virginia State Bar. Mr. Moss is also a member of the United States Patent Bar. In August of 2017 Mr. Moss began his Legal Career in the Dinwiddie County Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office. His responsibilities included prosecuting Misdemeanors and Felonies in the General District and Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court as well as the Circuit Court. In February of 2018, Mr. Moss began working in the Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office of Prince Edward County where he prosecuted a high volume of Misdemeanors and Felonies with an emphasis on complicated financial crimes. He also handled that office’s civil litigation for the Asset Forfeiture of drug money and assets. In June of 2019, Mr. Moss started the Law Office of David G. Moss, PLLC so he could vigorously represent the constitutional rights of his clients. Over the past few years Mr. Moss has tried hundreds of cases ranging from offenses such Armed Robbery, Abduction, Malicious Wounding to more minor misdemeanor such as DUI and Petit Larceny to both Judges and Juries. He has also tried a number of Civil cases ranging from breach of contract claims to Landlord tenant monetary disputes or evictions.
