About
I’m Brian Roy Carmichael, the founding attorney of Carmichael Law Group LLC, where we are committed to helping disabled and injured individuals secure the benefits and compensation they deserve. I represent Social Security Disability claimants across Alabama, Mississippi, Georgia, and even nationwide. My practice focuses on Social Security Disability. I assist clients at every step of the SSD and SSI process—whether it’s the initial application, reconsideration, hearings before an Administrative Law Judge, or appeals to the Appeals Council and federal court. I know that behind each claim is a person whose health, income, and family are deeply affected, and I approach every case with the persistence and care it requires. In one recent case, my firm worked alongside a client for 13 years before finally obtaining the benefits they were entitled to—a testament to our dedication and refusal to give up, even when the system tries to make it easy to. In addition to Social Security Disability, I also handle personal injury and products liability cases. These include car, truck, and motorcycle accidents, premises liability, brain injuries, wrongful death, dangerous drugs and medical devices, motor vehicle defects, and toxic torts. Whether facing an insurance company or a multinational corporation, I am committed to ensuring my clients have a fair chance to seek justice. At Carmichael Law Group LLC, we offer free consultations and work on a contingency basis, meaning clients owe nothing unless we win. This reflects my belief that everyone deserves access to quality legal representation, especially when they are unable to work. I earned my Juris Doctor from the Thomas Goode Jones School of Law at Faulkner University and hold a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa.
